The FISPM Board of Directors paid a courtesy visit to the Province of Iloilo, where they had the privilege of meeting with Governor Arthur R. Defensor Jr. together with key Iloilo provincial officials.

The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration in healthcare education, professional development, and advancing excellence in Sterile Processing and Infection Prevention. It also provided an opportunity to discuss potential initiatives that will enhance workforce development, promote international standards, and support the continuous growth of healthcare professionals in the region.

FISPM extends its sincere appreciation to Governor Arthur R. Defensor Jr. and the Provincial Government of Iloilo for the warm welcome and valuable discussions.

With the official theme, “Advancing Sterilization Science and Patient Safety: Innovation, Standards, and Leadership in the Asia-Pacific Region,” this international summit aims to promote excellence, innovation, collaboration, and leadership in sterilization science and healthcare quality.
